With fresh results from three 2008 contests, the two leaders in Canada's twin qualifying regions for the 2010 World Radiosport Team Championships remain VE3DZ and VE7CC.
In the East, Yuri Onipko VE3DZ saw his lead shrink by 21 points over Ron Vander Kraats VE3AT. Onipko's edge is now just 34 points overall.
Onipko scored WRTC points in all three contests just added to the radio-sport.net spreadsheets - the 2008 WAE SSB, IARU and WPX CW contests - but he didn't gain any points.
VE3AT though eked out another 21 points, thanks to his high power regional victory in the WAE SSB test, which gave him 730 WRTC points.
VE3DZ and VE3AT have flip-flopped back and forth in the lead and second place for the past year, and it may well take the final qualifying event, the 2009 Russian DX Contest to settle the winner in this regional.
In the 2007 and 2008 Russian DX tests, Onipko has had the edge on Vander Kraats, winning the maximum 910 points available each time.
It may take a repeat of that to keep him on top overall.
Out West in NA #6, Lee Sawkins VE7CC took top honors in two of the three contests added in this month, as he grabbed max points in the 2008 WAE SSB and IARU tests.
That helped him add 188 points overall to his totals, and gave him a 745 point lead over Bud Mortenson VA7ST, up from 715 points in the last update. The Russian qualifying criteria give Canada a pair of teams for the 2010 competition, one from each region.

(Radio-sport.net has tried to be as accurate as possible. If you find a mistake, or that your score line is missing a contest result, please send us an email and we will be happy to check and correct the numbers.)
The qualifying rules allow you to submit your top eight scores from certain contests. No more than four may be from multi-operator efforts.
You will note that some scores in the spreadsheets have been colored in. All multi-ops are noted with a yellow background. Scores from a contest operation outside of your home WRTC region are colored in blue.
A score that was both outside your home region and from a multi-op has a purple color.
