WRTC Africa: EA9LZ Extends Lead Over EA8MQ and EA8ZS

With less than a year to go in qualifying for the 2010 World Radiosport Team Championships in Russia, Jorge Taboada Pareja EA9LZ continues to lead the race for the one African team leader slot in WRTC Russia qualifying.

While Pareja did not enter the 2007 CQ WPX CW contest, he lost only 98 points to second place Miguel Perez EA8MQ, who now trails by 647 points.

Perez now holds second place by 177 points over EA8ZS.

Here are the top five operators from Africa as found by radio-sport.net. You can see a full spreadsheet link at the end of this data.

• EA8ZS 2,024 - (3 scores)
